Enhancing the WRX with 20mm Wheel Spacers

The Transformation

Installation Process

Our team began by carefully selecting high-quality 20mm wheel spacers from Aeroflow Dynamics designed specifically for the VB WRX. Ensuring the right fitment and durability is crucial for both safety and performance. Here’s a quick rundown of the installation:

1. Preparation: Velocity measured an the original offset and chose 20mm spacers to sit flush with the fenders.

2. Spacer Installation: Each 20mm spacer was meticulously aligned with the hub, ensuring a snug and secure fit. Proper torque settings were applied to the spacer bolts.

3. Wheel Reinstallation: With the spacers in place, the wheels were reinstalled and torqued to the manufacturer’s specifications.

The Results

After the installation, the transformation was immediate and impressive. Here’s how the 20mm wheel spacers changed our WRX:

Improved Fitment

The spacers pushed the wheels outward, creating a flush fitment with the fenders. This subtle change dramatically enhanced the car's stance, giving it a more aggressive and purposeful look. The improved fitment also eliminates the "sunken" appearance of stock wheels, making the WRX stand out on the road.

Enhanced Handling

Additionally, the spacers have removed the twitchiness in the front end, providing a smoother and more predictable driving experience.
